Intro Tree Planting/ Conservation

Join us for a day of purpose, connection, and impact. In partnership with CPAWS Quebec, we’re coming together to breathe new life into Sainte-Thérèse Island a hidden natural gem between Varennes and Montreal.

The day will include a scenic round-trip boat ride, a guided tour of the island’s unique ecosystem, and most importantly, the chance to get your hands in the soil by planting trees that will help bring back biodiversity. Every tree planted is a step toward restoring this island into what could become the new green lung of Montreal’s east end.

Let’s give back to the land that sustains us.

Just bring yourself and your lunch!

What to Wear

• Base Layer: Sweat-wicking T-shirt or tank top (avoid cotton)

• Mid Layer: Light fleece or synthetic long-sleeve shirt

• Outer Layer: Lightweight windbreaker or packable rain jacket (an umbrella isn’t recommended as you’ll need both hands for activities)

• Bottoms: Breathable hiking pants, athletic shorts, or leggings. Shorts

• Footwear:  Hot day: Trail runners, hiking boots, or sport sandals Rainy day: waterproof boots, 

• Accessories: A hat and sunglasses
