Where Afroski Meets the Slopes

We’re kicking off BLK WinterFest 2026 with a full-day celebration at Mont Tremblant ski resort. With a live DJ, beginner lessons and Community Riders Guiding (for participants who don’t require lessons), we’ll lead you through beginner to advanced trails (you select your preferred trail and level), as we ensure every rider, new or seasoned, feels supported, confident, and excited to ride.

Whether you’re carving the slopes, soaking in the views, or heading straight to après-ski, this is where winter begins with purpose and fun.

What to Wear

It’s a mountain day, so be sure to layer up. The weather changes fast.

3-Layer System:

• Base: Long-sleeve dry-fit or merino wool

• Mid: Fleece or breathable sweater

• Outer: Waterproof or insulated jacket

Plus:

• Snow pants

• Waterproof or warm gloves/mittens (Tip: mittens are warmer)

• Warm hat (that can fit under a helmet)

• Neck warmer or balaclava

For Skiers/Snowboarders:

• Knee-high ski socks (merino wool recommended)

• Ski goggles or sunglasses

What to Pack:

• Extra gloves & socks

• Light backpack or hip pack

• Water bottle & healthy snack/s

• Hand warmers

• Phone/camera for photos & your favorite playlist

• Optional: extra lunch

Event Schedule

(Note: schedule subject to change)

• 5:30 AM – Arrive at the Gare d’autocars de Montréal, 1717 Rue Berri, Montreal, QC

• 6:00 AM – Check in closes

• ~7:30 AM – Arrival in Mont-Tremblant

• 9:30 AM–12:30 PM – Ski & Snowboard Lessons for General ticket holders

• 9:30 AM – Not in a lesson? Meet new people and hit the slopes with a rider group!

  • Head to the Routes to Rootz tent at Place Saint-Bernard by 9:45 AM.

• 11 AM – 1 PM – Lunch service for non-students

• 1 – 2 PM Lunch for ski/board students

• 3:30 PM – Meet at Place Saint-Bernard for the Parade to the après-ski

• 4–5:30 PM – Après-ski celebration

• 5:30 PM – Depart Mont-Tremblant

• Around 8:00 PM – Return to Montreal
